The manual plant for manufacturing pillows and cushions has been designed and built by BROSIOMECCANICA in order to manufacture pillows or cushions, to open polyester tufts or waste and to manual fill-up them in pre-manufactured pillow-bags. The line is composed by two different machines:
- opener machine - mod. BM153
- loader group - mod. BM189
Working phase
The operator manually deposes the scraps or the polyester-fibre to be opened on the feeder carpet that feeds the opener machine BM153. The aspirator group sucks the opened fibre or scraps from the lined cylinders group and conveys them by air pressure inside the silo. The regular filling of the silo is controlled by photocells, in order to guarantee a continuous working without interruptions. The operator holds the pillow-bag opening around the nozzle and presses the pedal, the guillotine-shutter opens and the filling-materials are blown into the pillow-bags until the operator releases the pedal. For a more regular filling, the machine is equipped with an adjustable timer that allows the setting of time-intervals. In this case, the operator presses the pedal to open the guillotine-shutter, starting the filling-materials flow and the timer will stop it automatically, closing the guillotine-shutter after the set time-interval has elapsed.
