The BM199 is a press designed to vacuum-pack cushions, pillows, quilts and other products into polyethylene bags in order to reduce their volume and facilitate their handling and transport.
The lower table of the press consists of a conveyor belt, which automatically ejects the pillow after the bag has been sealed by means of a sealing bar.
WORKING CYCLE
- The operator places the cushion into the polyethylene bag, positions it on the conveyor belt at the machine's entrance, and presses the start button. The conveyor belt is activated, guiding the cushions into the press, and automatically stops when a photocell detects the presence of the cushion in the press.
- After the cushion is vacuum-packed, as the press opens, the conveyors are activated: the one positioned on the press platform expels the cushion, while the one at the entrance feeds the next cushion into the press.
- The operator can adjust the pressure applied to the cushion by setting a proximity sensor that controls the press's descent.
- The addition of a manipulator group at the press exit allows for the automation of filling containers with packaged cushions.
