The BM500 opener has been designed to open virgin staple fibre with a production capacity of 350-400 kg/h.
The machine consists of a motorized feeding belt, infeed cylinders with rigid wire clothing, worker cylinders with rigid wire clothing and a drum with rigid wire clothing.
The feeding unit and the worker cylinders have variable speed controlled by an inverter to adapt the machine speed to the line speed.
