The auto closing machine for pillows BM202 has been engineered by BROSIOMECCANICA in order to automate the process of inserting polyester carded fibre filling into ready-made pillow-cases and close the fourth side by means of an overlock machine.
It is meant to be installed after a carding line, so that it can be automatically fed by this line itself.
The roll of polyester fibre is laid down on the inlet conveyor belt of the auto closing machine for pillows BM202 where the cases are collected. A retrieval arm takes the case from a lifting platform and feeds the filling device that conveys the fibre into its case. At this stage the pillow is moves to another conveyor belt that drives it to the sewing station where an overlock machine closes the open side.
A labelling machine can be assembled before the overlock machine and allows to stitch a label while closing the pillow.
